Perhaps we recreate ourselves.
Is painting, making art, the process of recreating myself?
Does the medium suggest my need for smoother,
more gentle self appreciation, as I brush slick colorful paint?
Do I search deeper as I model, mold and handle the clay?
Digging into the clay am I molding, handling my own soul?
I paint the inside of head with the visions I see.
Am I training myself to surrender.. better? to a divine inspiration?
I sense I am leaving layers of the world, as they fall away from me
in my studio.
I am revealed.. refreshed tumbled in the pure delight of sweet creation.
