I just completed a second book with author Stacie Morrell.
The first, *Sir Stan the Bogeyman. This book may be the most fun Ive had illustrating a story..so far!
We recieved notice that the Wishing Book Shelf awarded this book a bronze award. Very fun!!
The second book, *The Bug Came Back is for little people. Its full of humor, about an annoying bug that follows a little girl and her kitty all the live long day. I was given permission to add a character into the story, the little girls kitty. This gave me so much more room for exrpession. While the little girl may have been annoyed at the bug, the kitty was delighted to have it to swat at. a very enjoyable process.
So illustrators, push the possibilities with your authors..there is room for an expanded vision.
